Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

The Territory Sales Manager will work with the Wholesale Manager and Brand Ambassadors/Sales support associates to build wholesale penetration (with ATCs), deliver wholesale sales.

  • Manages wholesale sales responsibilities in their territory to minimally achieve the monthly, quarterly, and annual wholesale NR budgets.
  • Point-of-contact and liaison between The Botanist NJ and other NJ wholesale vendors and purchasers
  • Sales-driven and target based

Selling Responsibilities

  • Minimally achieve monthly and quarterly budgets
  • Coordinating and implementing 3rd party wholesale software (e.g.,. LeafTrade, Repsly, Seed Talent,)
  • Coordinating with Processing and Inventory teams on product availability and physical preparation of orders
  • Preparing product for sale and transport via the Seed-To-Sale software
  • Assisting with physical transport of product, as needed
  • Generating invoices; assisting Administration and Finance to follow up with vendors for consistent timely payment
  • Planning and assisting in “Pop-Up” events at the customer store locations to help with brand activation and sell-through with support from the Brand Ambassador/Sales Support associates.
  • Visiting store locations in their territory regularly to check in and grow the revenue from each account
  • Building branded displays on-site, in customer locations, with support from the Brand
    Ambassador/Sales Support associates
  • Prepare and present on-site budtender trainings using provided educational decks in Seed Talent to ensure brand knowledge consistently across the market

General Responsibilities

  • Responsible for recordkeeping of all pertinent purchasing and wholesale docs; req form, vendor PO, manifest, invoice, Product Credits, etc.
  • Maintaining a Department-Shared calendar / schedule with all selling/purchasing dates and activity
  • Maintaining all travel logs and notes/forms via Repsly
  • Following up and working with vendors regarding any product issues
  • Responsible for monthly corporate Transfer Report and Wholesale reporting

Basic Qualifications:

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2-years of sales or relevant experience;
  • Ability to communicate clearly and factually to drive sales
  • Analytical skills, adaptability, problem solving and versatility.
  • Strong work ethic includes being detail oriented, highly organized, professional, enthusiastic and eager to learn.
  • Must be able to work weekends and holidays
  • Proficient written and verbal communications skills
  • Proven ability to effectively prioritize, manage time and task for self and others
  • Proven problem-solving skills with ability to analyze situations, identify exist or potential problems, and recommend
    solutions
