Assistant Asset Manager/Affordable Housing
Foresight Affordable Housing, Inc. is a growing multi-state affordable housing nonprofit that is short a teammate. The successful candidate will assist with the managerial review for a growing property portfolio. Basic candidate functions include portfolio oversight, evaluating both the fiscal and physical asset, monthly reporting and providing real time guidance of any asset issues. This position will require travel.
Among specific responsibilities:
Financial: Monthly review and reporting of budgetary operations; budget adherence; vacancy control; tenant receivable sensitivity; timely lease renewals and certifications; monitoring reserve account usage and sufficiency for current and future needs.
Physical: Annual asset inspections to assess the interior and exterior physical condition and ensure planned capital additions are being completed.
Administrative: Board meeting participation and newsletter contributor; complete monthly asset management financial reports; physical inspection reports; conduct file reviews; review legal documents; direct management efforts. This is a growth-oriented position. Initial salary range $55,000 - $75,000 depending on experience. Among benefits are paid time off, 401k and health insurance.
