Become a Camp Wilton Counselor!
Are you interested in learning how you can create a fun camp experience for an adult with special needs? Our campers are looking for Counselors who can assist them as they participate in Camp activities, such as arts and crafts, swimming, recreation and music and drama. Our Counselors live at camp during the week with our campers to help them make the most of their camp experience. Counselors must be at least 18 years old and have an interest working in recreation or camp programs.
9 Weeks, Mid-June thru Mid-August
Weekends Off, Room and Board Included

The New York State Office for People With Developmental Disabilities (OPWDD) is responsible for coordinating services for New Yorkers with developmental disabilities, including intellectual disabilities, cerebral palsy, Down syndrome, autism spectrum disorders, Prader-Willi syndrome and other neurological impairments. It provides services directly and through a network of approximately 500 nonprofit service providing agencies, with about 80 percent of services provided by the private nonprofits and 20 percent provided by state-run services.
