Penn State Dickinson Law in Carlisle, PA is seeking an experienced Administrative Support Coordinator 3 to provide support to our faculty. The position will report to the Associate Dean for Administration.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide professional administrative support for the full-time and adjunct faculty, as well as to certain Assistant and Associate Deans.
- Assist faculty members in the preparation and execution of their courses.
- Assist with the preparation of articles and correspondence.
- Manage schedules and arrange travel and reimbursements.
- Work with the Dean for Administration and the Development and Alumni Office to help manage alumni boards and trusted advisor groups.
- Help manage campus-wide event scheduling.
Typical Education & Experience:
- Associate's degree or higher
- Plus 3 years of related experience
- Or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (e.g. Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint), including the ability to create footnotes and citations are required.
- The ability to learn new software applications is also necessary.
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills; oral and written communication skills; attention to detail; as well as strong proofreading and editing skills.
- Professional demeanor, project management capabilities, and the ability to work well with a diverse population of faculty, law students, and alumni are all required.
