Job Summary

UK HealthCare Sports Medicine is seeking qualified candidates for an Athletic Trainer that will work with the Lexington Sporting Club. This position plays a pivotal role in supporting the health and performance of athletes, with a primary focus on the Academy & Youth league as well as the USL Super League, a new Division One professional women's soccer league kicking off in August 2024 and the men's USL- League 1 1st team. This dynamic position involves providing comprehensive athletic training services, including injury prevention, evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation. Collaborating closely with coaches, medical staff, and athletes, the Athletic Trainer ensures a proactive approach to injury management and performance optimization. By implementing evidence-based practices and fostering a culture of wellness, the incumbent contributes significantly to the success and well-being of athletes within the Lexington Sporting Club community. Game and event coverage will be required as needed to support health of athletes, and travel to those events is required.
