Job Description

The University of Missouri is seeking an Assistant Director of On-Campus Recruiting Operations for a division I football program who will play a pivotal role in supporting the recruitment efforts of Mizzou Football. Reporting to the Assistant Director of Athletics for Football External Relations and Recruiting, responsibilities will include, but limited to:

Assisting in the development and implementation of strategic recruiting plans to attract and retain top-tier student-athletes.

Building relationships with Missouri football prospects and their families, including building trust and fostering personal relationships.

Supporting the football staff's mission of providing unique and memorable on-campus experiences for prospective student-athletes, their parents and coaches by formulating detailed, organized and thoughtful on-campus visits specific to the needs of each prospective student-athlete by highlighting key strengths of the University of Missouri.
  • Assisting with coordinating direct communication efforts across multiple platforms.
  • Providing daily, non-coaching support to the Head Coach and members of the coaching staff as assigned.
  • Collaborating with coaching staff and academic advisors to ensure alignment between recruiting efforts and program needs.
  • Performing a variety of standard assignments and responsibilities and making recommendations for improvement, as necessary.
  • Developing and maintaining working relationships with both internal and external contacts.
  • Staying informed of NCAA rules and regulations related to recruiting and ensure compliance at all times.
  • Performing other related duties as assigned.
Shift

Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm; Nights, Weekends, and Travel as required.

Minimum Qualifications

A Bachelor's degree in related/relevant area or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 2 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary

Preferred Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience in recruitment for a division I football program.

Anticipated Hiring Range

Salary Range: $51,875 - $60,000 per year

Grade: GGS-9E
