Job Summary

This team is developing data-driven solutions for ophthalmology. To accomplish this, a suite of programs are needed for data on-boarding, modification and labeling to support downstream applications. To support this team, the person selected for this role will be responsible for design, development, modification, and implementation of software programming applications. This team member will support the testing process through test review and analysis, test witnessing and certification of software.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities will include:
  • Following general guidelines and accepted technical approaches to perform tasks in the design, development, and implementation of software engineering applications.
  • Analysis and investigation of software engineering project tasks, the definition of design specifications, and parameters.
  • Development and application of standard routines and utility programs and resolution of hardware/software compatibility.
  • Interface design considerations and analysis of system architecture requirements and structure.
  • Over the term of this post, solutions for both local compute and cloud systems will be developed
A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required to complete this role. Assignments are defined in terms of general objectives and are of diverse scope and moderate technical complexity. This role may assign work to lower level technical support employees and may:
  • Rely on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
  • Perform a variety of tasks
  • Work under general supervision
  • Typically reports to the head of the lab.

Minimum Qualifications
