Job Summary
This team is developing data-driven solutions for ophthalmology. To accomplish this, a suite of programs are needed for data on-boarding, modification and labeling to support downstream applications. To support this team, the person selected for this role will be responsible for design, development, modification, and implementation of software programming applications. This team member will support the testing process through test review and analysis, test witnessing and certification of software.

Responsibilities
Responsibilities will include:
- Following general guidelines and accepted technical approaches to perform tasks in the design, development, and implementation of software engineering applications.
- Analysis and investigation of software engineering project tasks, the definition of design specifications, and parameters.
- Development and application of standard routines and utility programs and resolution of hardware/software compatibility.
- Interface design considerations and analysis of system architecture requirements and structure.
- Over the term of this post, solutions for both local compute and cloud systems will be developed
- Rely on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
- Perform a variety of tasks
- Work under general supervision
- Typically reports to the head of the lab.

- Nearly Continuously: Office environment.
- Nearly Continuously: Sitting, hearing, listening, talking.
- Often: Repetitive hand motion (such as typing), walking.
- Seldom: Bending, reaching overhead.
- Requires a bachelor's degree in a related area or equivalency (one year of education can be substituted for two years of related work experience) and 2-4 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
